지난해 자신의 성기를 자르고 투신자살을 시도해 화제가 됐던 래퍼 안드레이 존슨 (예명 크라이스트 베어러)은 자신의 행동이 굉장히 자랑스럽다고 밝혔다. 안드레이(40)는 최근 공개된 인터뷰에서 “그 당시에는 굉장히 우울했지만, 지금은 하길 잘한 것 같다”고 말했다. 그는 “이런 행동을 한 사람은 저밖에 없다”면서 “아마 역사에 오래 남을 가장 큰 실수를 했을지언정, 나의 행동이 자랑스럽다“고 말했다. 그는 의사들이 다시 자신의 성기를 접합하지는 못했지만, 남은 부분으로 사는데 별문제 없다고 밝혔다. 안드레이가 애초에 절단한 이유는, 자신이 겪는 모든 문제들의 근원이 자신의 성기에 있다고 생각했기 때문이라고 밝혔다. 사건 당시 안드레이는 마약을 한 상태였고, 스님과 정관절제 수술에 관한 책을 읽고 있었다고 알려졌다. 10대 소년 4명, 여학생 집단 성폭행…‘충격’
