야근을 하면 왜 단음식이 먹고 싶을까?
밤늦게 까지 학교 과제나 회사 야근을 마친 후 달고 짠음식을 찾게 되는 이유를 찾았다.미국 캘리포니아대학의 연구에 따르면 수면이 부족한 사람은 비만을 초래할 수 있는 건강하지 않은 음식을 선호하게 된다는 결과를 발표했다.이 논문의 저자 스태파니 그리너와 연구진은 23명의 건장한 성인을 대상으로 수면부족이 음식의 선택에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실험했다.참가자를 두 집단으로 나누어 A집단에게는 4시간 이하의 수면시간을 B집단에게는 9시간 동안의 수면을 5일간 실천하도록 했다. 그 후 과일과 채소와 같이 건강한 음식과 피자, 도넛 등의 건강하지 않은 식품을 보여주며 자기공명영상(MRI)을 통해 뇌파를 진단했다. 그 결과 수면을 충분히 취하지 못한 집단은 복잡한 선택을 돕고 행동을 조정하는 뇌의 전두엽이 제대로
