지난 2007년 해저 2,600미터에서 포착된 심해생물의 영상이 해외네티즌들사이에서 다시 화제가 되고 있다. 이 심해생명체는 지난 2007년 멕시코만에 다국적석유기업 쉘오일의 원격조정탐사잠수정에 포착되었다.
