이케아 의자에 ‘거기’가 끼였다는 남자
지난 달 31일 노르웨이 이케아 소비자가 게시한 페이스북 사진이 돌연 주목을 받고 있다. 게시물을 올린 노르웨이 알타의 클라우스 요스타드 (Claus Jørstad)는 무릎 부상을 겪은 후 앉은 자세로 샤워할 목적으로 이케아에서 등받이 없는 의자(스툴)를 구입했다. (페이스북) 하지만 상상도 못했던 문제가 발생했다. 샤워 중 온수로 인해 주요 부위가 팽창하는 바람에 스툴의 구멍에 끼이게 된 것이다. 그는 옴짝달싹 못한 상태로 그 부분이 수축할 때까지 기다린 후 안전히 탈출할 수 있었다고 한다. 요스타드는 이 스툴의 ‘위험성’에 대해 널리 알리기 위해 생생한 경험담을 노르웨이 이케아의 페이스북 페이지에 공유했다. 이에 이케아 측은 “샤워 목적으로 스툴을 사용하지 말 것을 권장한다”고 대응했다. 요스타드는 이후 스툴을 목욕 타월로 덮고 사용한다고 말했다. 말레이시아행 에어아시아 항공기, 엉뚱하게 멜버른 착륙
지난해 호주 시드니발 말레이시아행 에어아시아 비행기가 엉뚱하게 호주 멜버른에 착륙했던 사건이 7일 호주 교통안전국의 조사 보고서 발표를 통해 일단락 되었다. 이 보고서에 따르면 사건의 발단은 비행기 조종사가 수동으로 좌표를 입력할 시 출발점으로 잘못된 좌표를 찍은 것이 화근이었다.
