SK텔레콤 통신망 장애로 인해 전화와 데이터 등 모든 서비스가 중단되는 사고가 발생했다. 약 1시간여 지속된 장애로 가입자들의 불만은 쏟아 졌다. 네트워크 장애는 20일 오후 6시쯤 시작 되었으며, SK텔레콤에 따르면 가입자확인모듈 장비에 고장이 생겨 발생한 것이라고 한다. SK고객들은 전화 연결을 시도하면 통화 신호가 잡히지 않고 데이터를 이용한 인터넷을 사용할 수 없었다. SK텔레콤 측은 6시 24분 모든 시스템이 정상화 되었다고 밝혔지만, 8시가 지나도록 불편을 겪는 사례가 발생했다.
