U.S. pop star Janet Jackson is not supportive of her 14-year-old niece Paris' decision to act professionally while still a child, sources told UsMagazine.com.

Paris is one of the three children of Janet's singer brother, Michael, who died in 2009.

The teen has spoken publicly about her plans to act in the movie "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys," which is due for release in 2014. But Janet is afraid doing so goes against her late sibling's wishes that his children not work until they are at least 18, UsMagazine.com said.

"She feels it goes against Michael's wishes to keep his kids out of the limelight until age 18," an insider told the magazine. "Janet thinks Paris should enjoy being a kid and possibly go to college. ... It's a huge dispute!"

Paris and her brothers, Prince Michael and Blanket, are being raised by Janet and Michael's mother, Katherine.

Janet and Michael, as well as their siblings, grew up performing professionally.(UPI)

패리스 잭슨과 그녀의 오빠 프린스 마이클, 남동생 블랭킷과 함께 할머니 캐서린에게 양육되었다. 쟈넷과 마이클 잭슨 역시 프로 연예인으로 활동하면서 자라난 바 있다.
