Auto exports up 21.9% in Jan. on record sales of eco-friendly cars
South Korea's car exports jumped 21.9 percent in January on-year, driven by record-high global sales of eco-friendly cars, data showed Monday. South Korean stocks opened lower Monday as big-cap tech shares lost ground amid persistent concerns over the aggressive monetary tightening by the US Federal Reserve to curb inflation.
