Korea’s ICT exports increase for 2nd consecutive month
South Korean exports of information and communications technology products increased for the second consecutive month in July, latest data showed Thursday. Whirpool requests extension of safeguard against Samsung, LG
US electronics giant Whirpool has filed a petition to extend the current safeguard against South Korean competitors Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics over their exports of washing machines to the US market, according to Korean industry sources Thursday. LG Electronics signed a deal Wednesday with local partners to develop 6G telecommunication technologies, the company said. KT’s Q2 operating profit jumps on improved B2B business
Korean telecom giant KT said Friday its operating profit increased by 18.6 percent though its sales dropped during the same period in the second quarter this year.
