South Korea's current account surplus shrank from a month earlier in August mainly on a fall in exports that led to a cut in the surplus in the goods balance, data showed Friday. The delinquency rate for loans extended by South Korean banks rose in August from a month earlier due to a rise in soured loans extended to companies and households, the financial watchdog said Friday.
