MEET TAIWAN Launches GREENTOPIA: Sustainable MICE City Competition

TAIPEI, Aug. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The MEET TAIWAN Program, organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, is launching an all-new GREENTOPIA: Sustainable MICE City proposal competition in 2022, incorporating sustainability elements such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and calling on business professionals from around the world to participate by submitting creative proposals for sustainable MICE events in Taiwan. Proposal winners will not only get a cash prize, they will also become the first virtual citizens of GREENTOPIA.

It takes only three minutes to register online and, just for doing so, one of two high-end business laptops from a famous Taiwanese brand could be won. The registration period begins on August 4, 2022. For further details, visit the official campaign website at http://greentopia.meettaiwan.com

  • Stage 1: Starting August 4, go to the campaign website and click on Apply; spend 3 minutes to complete the online application for a chance to win a high-end business laptop. Qualified applications will receive a notification letter and be able to advance to Stage 2.

  • Stage 2: By October 19, qualified applicants should submit a proposal for a sustainable MICE event in Taiwan. Five winners will each get a share of the US$30,000 prize and a GREENTOPIA e-Citizenship Card.
