A corporate social responsibility project by Han Sung Motor, the largest official dealer of Mercedes-Benz in South Korea, will join the 2019 Seoul Design Festival that kicks off Wednesday for a five-day run.

Taking place at Coex in southern Seoul, the annual event invites prominent designers, design brands and companies to exchange their artistic talents and to support local designers in making international debuts. 




Recipients of Han Sung’s Dream Gream scholarship program will demonstrate their talents by collaborating with a local design group, Maeum Studio. 

The two groups have collaborated in designing a list of stationeries, from notebooks and postcards to masking tape. Products with designs inspired from Dream Gream students’ dreams and images of traveling will be displayed at Han Sung Motor’s booth at the festival and put on sale. Profits from product sales will be donated for children in need of help, the company said.

The foreign car importer supports students with artistic talents by holding a series of art classes as well as awarding scholarships for their education.
