Seoul Global Center is inviting applications for funding for foreign community events to take place this year.
The program is a continuation of one run earlier this year to encourage community building by foreign residents.
The events should be scheduled for the period running from July to November.
Applications are open until June 24.
Communities already receiving support from Seoul Metropolitan Government are not eligible for the funds.
Enquiries should be sent to Hyoeun Cho at hyoeun0211@hanmail.net or call (02) 2075-4136.
Busan Foundation for International Cooperation runs a similar support system. The center issues funding of up to 300,000 won ($280) for expat events in the city throughout the year. There is no deadline for application but there is a limit to the total funds available to be allocated.
For information about the Busan support program, see the bfic.or.kr website.
