Drunk lieutenant sets off fire extinguisher inside train

A South Korean Army lieutenant has been arrested for an outburst, setting off a fire extinguisher inside a train and delaying its operation for longer than 10 minutes.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Monday that a 28-year-old lieutenant from the 30th Infantry Division created a disturbance at Wangsimni Station around 10:45 p.m. on Monday.
The lieutenant was apparently inebriated and did not hear either the announcement that all passengers must get off because it was the last station or other passengers telling him to follow the instruction.

He reportedly woke up and found himself locked inside alone, and set off the fire extinguisher in rage. Train operation was delayed by 14 minutes as a result.
Police caught him red-handed and transferred him to Capital Defense Command Military Police for investigation.
