Hyundai Engineering and Construction will begin lot sales of its new premium Hillstate brand apartments in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, the company said Monday.

Hillstate Classy Comfort is being built as part of an urban redevelopment project of Singil New Town’s ninth zone.

The complex will comprise 14 apartment buildings as high as 29 stories for a total of 1,476 households. Of them, 701 households at a size ranging from 42 square meters to 114 square meters will be up for sale. Of the total, 98 percent are small or medium-sized, the most popular spaces for homebuyers in the city, the company said.

Singil New Town, located in the southwestern part of the capital, is planned to become home to some 15,000 households.

Hillstate Classy Comfort is situated at the heart of the town, with various convenient facilities, schools and parks within a 2-kilometer radius of the complex, the company said. It is also within walking distance from Subway Line No. 7.

The apartment buildings are to be equipped with the high-tech Internet of Things system for light fixtures, gas and heating, along with other electronic devices.

“Hillstate Classy Comfort is conveniently connected via public transport to southern Seoul and the Yeouido area, along with a couple of new subway lines slated to open, making it an up-and-coming residential area in southwestern Seoul,” a company official said.

The model house for the apartment complex will open early next month, the company said.
