The K-pop megastars of EXO are in the spotlight again this holiday season, dropping their new winter EP “For Life” on Monday.
The five-track album, with its eponymous lead single, was released in both Korean and Chinese. It features both upbeat pop and soulful ballads as well as Christmas-inspired tracks including “Winter Heat,” “What I Want for Christmas” and “Falling for You.”
Along with the album release, EXO unveiled the Korean and Chinese music videos for the single “For Life,” a love song about a man who promises to stick by his one true love. The music video was shot in the style of a short movie and was produced by Kenzie and Matthew Tishler.
EXO released its first holiday album, “Miracles in December,” in 2013 and achieved respectable commercial success. That album went on to steal the No. 1 spot on the Billboard World Albums Chart, as well as rank No. 4 on Korea’s Gaon 2013 Yearly Albums Chart.
