[THE INVESTOR] On Sept. 21, Hanwha General Insurance (000370) declined 0.75% to 6,610 won (US$ 5.91). It had declined 5.07% through the past month. Standard deviation, the volatility index for stock price, was 1.4% over the same period of time over one month.
Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSPI, the monthly volatility of Hanwha General Insurance was at a low level, the earnings rate over one month was also the lowest with decline of stock price. As a shareholding sum by investor group for the past four weeks, foreigners have sold 52,900 shares and institutions have sold 578,812 shares with dominant selling. However, during the same period, individuals have bought 631,712 shares with an increasing position.
