[THE INVESTOR] The National Tax Service will collect an additional 3.4 billion won (US$3.04 million) in taxes from YG Entertainment, closing a three-month regular tax audit, according to media reports Aug. 23.

It had been eight years since YG Entertainment, whose artists include Big Bang, PSY and 2NE1, had undergone a tax audit where it paid 2.8 billion won for the embezzlement of an employee and omitting income.
