After a large number of requests from hotel guests to establish an adults-only pool area, the Shilla Jeju luxury resort has done just that.
Earlier this June, the hotel established its new outdoor “adults pool” in the tranquil, tropical ambiance of the Soombi Garden just in time for one of the country’s hottest summers on record.
The pool area also comes fully equipped with cabanas and a poolside bar, serving up a wide variety of cocktails and fine-dining meals.
“Our focus for the adult pool is not so much on offering a space for our adult guests, but more about providing our guests with a comfortable, healing environment,” according to a press release by the hotel. “We also provide our guests services which they can enjoy with their entire family including our family pool.”

“We have high hopes of it becoming Jeju Island’s new landmark hotspot,” the statement added.
In celebration of its new facility, the hotel is offering its guests a Summer Invitation vacation package. Pool guests will receive a gift certificate for two signature cocktails, free use of the adult and family pool and breakfast for two.
From Aug. 21 to Sept. 4, guests to the adult pool will also be offered a limited time package that includes two hours free use of the poolside cabanas, two mugs of beer and a dinner buffet coupon for one at the hotel’s The Parkview restaurant.
Pricing for the Summer Invitation packages range from 560,000 won ($507) to 980,000 won depending on rooms. The Hotel Shilla Jeju is in Seogwipo on Jejudo Island.
