Samsung Electronics to repurchase, retire stock worth W1.79tr

[DISCLOSURE] Samsung Electronics (005930) will repurchase its own stock worth 1.79 trillion won (US$1.58 billion), it announced on July 28.
It will acquire 990,000 common stocks and 230,000 preferred stocks between July 29 and Oct. 28 for retirement.
