The Samsung Group affiliate did not unveil the details of its Chinese partners, but Xiaomi is said to be one of them.
The company logged 15.2 billion won (US$13.40 million) in operating profit and 1.62 trillion won in revenue in the second quarter, down 84 percent and up 0.9 percent on-year, respectively.
It cited the temporary cost for the restructuring and layoff process as the reason for the profit drop.
Despite the profit drop, the Korean firm’s share closed up 5.74 percent at 55,300 won on July 22.
