Beat the summer heat at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill
Sheraton Grande Walkerhill presents its seasonal bingsu promotion “Frozen Sweet” at the lobby lounge The Pavilion until Sept. 11.
The promotion offers a selection of bingsu, including the hotel’s signature Milk Patbingsu with red bean paste and organic condensed milk, and Konggaru Bingsu with bean powder. Visitors can select fruit toppings from among apple mangos or blueberries.
All the bingsu items use smooth and sweet iced-milk for well-balanced flavor.
Prices range from 22,000 won to 35,000 won, including tax and service charge.

Park Hyatt Busan presents craft beer promotion
Park Hyatt Busan’s Living Room Bar presents craft beer, chicken set, and seafood plate for the upcoming summer season until July 31.
The bar presents a variety of selections from the Korean craft beer brand Ark. Different types of beer are available, including “Hug Me,” “Some &Some,” “Black Swan,” “Cosmic Dancer,” and “Be High.”
“Hug Me” is a locally produced beer which uses selected malt, wheat and orange peel, and has a savory ginger flavor and soft texture. “Some & Some” offers the bitter flavor of fresh kakao nip, soft chocolate and nuts. “Black Swan” features the sweet and slightly bitter aroma of black roasting malt. “Cosmic Dancer” has a fresh tropical fruit flavor and light texture, and “Be High” has a rich malt flavor.
Two set menus -- chicken set and seafood plate -- include five bottles of beer.

JW Marriott Hotel Seoul celebrates the upcoming season with new packages -- The Kids Tok package and The Summer Tok package -- until Aug. 31.
The Kids Tok package features one night’s stay at Superior Room and swim gear set consisting of a beach bag, a large beach towel, arm floaties, and a swimming cap from Scandinavian outdoor kid’s lifestyle brand Skarbarn.
The Summer Tok package includes one night’s stay at Superior Room and a choice of two bottles of beer and fried chicken wings served in-room or a bingsu dessert from The Lobby Lounge.
Free access to the hotel’s indoor swimming pool complex, including a therapy pool fed with natural hot spring water, and to fitness studio are included in both packages.
The price starts at 230,000 won, exclusive of tax and service charge.

Premium sushi bar at Imperial Palace Seoul Hotel
Japanese restaurant Manyo at Imperial Palace Seoul Hotel presents “Sushi Bar Special” until July 29.
The guests having Sushi Bar Special at Manyo will be able to order the special menus recommended by the chef, to be served at the private bar table.
Lunch special features sushi, sashimi, grilled or fried dish, and maki, while dinner special features two more dishes -- chef‘s special menu and vegetable sticks.
The menus including sushi, sashimi, grilled or fried dish will be prepared the way the guests wish, using fresh ingredients supplied on the day.
Sushi Bar Special at Manyo is available for lunch and dinner on weekdays.

Taste of Venice at Millennium Seoul Hilton
Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Italian restaurant Il Ponte will host a gala dinner Venetian Night on June 17.
The dinner gala will start off with a cocktail reception, followed by popular foods from Venice, Italy.
The cocktail reception will feature wine and cocktails including Prosecco and wine spritzers with mini beef carpaccio served on spoons and tomato and crab bruschetta. An array of appetizers including tomato and mozzarella skewers, Caesar salad, seared tuna loin with pepper spiced crust, and bread basket will be presented buffet-style as the meal starts.
Following this course, the guests will be served with Burrida seafood soup, handmade truffle pasta with prawns and mussels, beef tenderloin Rossini with Porcini mushroom sauce, and olive polenta and butter-sauteed broccoli.
For desserts, a buffet featuring Italian desserts including Tiramisu in chocolate cups, panna cotta, strawberries in chocolate meringue, Venetian apple pie, melon mint cubes, coffee parfait, and baked meringue ice cream will be offered.
The dinner is priced at 200,000 won, including tax and service charge, and will begin at 6:30pm.
