Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics’ television lineup has been recognized as the best TV brand of the year by U.K. consumer magazine Which?, the company said Monday.
The consumer magazine, which provides product reviews of consumer electronics, has awarded consumer electronics brands every year since 2007 through a series of rigorous research and product tests.

Samsung’s TV lineup consisting of 38 TV products has been selected as the “Brand of the Year,” by topping the list of “Best Buy” products, superior electronics brands chosen by the magazine.
The tech firm also received the 10th Anniversary Award, which is given to companies that have won the most number of the Brand-of-the-Year awards over the past 10 years. Samsung has won the award seven times.
“Samsung TVs have been rated on top by many prestigious European magazines and other media outlets,” said Sung Il-kyung of Samsung’s visual display business, in a press release.
“The company will maintain its lead in the European TV market with its top-notch TV products,” he added.
German audio video magazine Video gave the Samsung SUHD TV a top rating, saying that it boasts unrivaled picture quality and will become a new standard in the sector.
