Luna of K-pop girl group f(x) will release her first solo EP “Free Somebody” at midnight on May 30, according to the singer’s agency, SM Entertainment.
The singer also released teaser images of the upcoming album on her official website at luna.smtown.com and Vyrl’s SMTOWN account.
The upcoming album consists of six songs including the lead song “Free Somebody,” presenting her unique style.
It is the singer’s first solo album since she debuted in the five-member girl group (now a quartet following Sulli’s departure). She is the second member to have a solo release, after Amber’s solo EP “The Beautiful” in February 2015.
Luna has been recognized for her powerful singing ability through music competition shows such as MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” and KBS2’s “Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend.”
