Actress Park Si-yeon, 37, and her husband surnamed Park are in the process of filing for divorce after five years of marriage, the actress’ agency MYSTIC Entertainment announced Tuesday.
“Despite Park’s efforts for an amicable agreement with her husband, Park is filing a divorce suit,” said the agency, asking the media to refrain from speculations.
Park married her husband in November 2011, and the couple has two daughters.

Park, the third-place winner of the Miss Korea Seoul pageant in 2000, debuted with CCTV’s “Feng Qiu Huang” in China in 2004. Afterwards, she starred in TV dramas, films, music videos and variety shows in Korea.
Park was among celebrities investigated and indicted for illegal use of Propofol, and sentenced to eight months in prison with a two-year suspension in November 2013.
She made a comeback with TV Chosun’s “The Greatest Marriage” in 2014 and starred in the film “Last Knights” in 2015.
