Tickets to watch the pre-recording of a local variety show featuring South Korean actor Song Joong-ki are being scalped at high prices, Chinese media reported Wednesday.
The tickets to watch the "Descendants of the Sun" actor on the Hunan TV show "Happy Camp" were being re-sold illegally for up to 8,000 yuan ($1,227), the Chinese news website Sina.com said. The price is for a front-row seat, with a regular seat fetching about 3,400 yuan.
"Happy Camp" was started in 1997 and has featured many South Korean stars popular in the country.
Meanwhile, Song is set to embark on a fan meeting tour of Chinese-speaking countries on Saturday in Beijing. He is scheduled to stop at Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Chengdu. Hong Kong and Taiwan have also been added to the list recently. (Yonhap)
