“I’m looking forward to joining MSD Korea and to continuing the success that Don (Dong-wook) and his team have had in serving customers and patients in Korea,” Ben-Shoshan said in a statement.

Ben-Shoshan began his career in the pharmaceutical industry by joining the Canadian branch of U.S.-based Pfizer in 1995, where he built experience in market research, new product planning, market access and business development.

After joining MSD Israel in 2003, he became the branch’s managing director in 2011. He later served as MSD Japan’s head of strategy from 2014, and will now head MSD Korea.
