AOA to drop fourth single in Japan

K-pop girl group AOA’s fourth Japanese single will hit record stores in Japan on April 20, the group’s agency FNC Entertainment announced Sunday.

“Give Me the Love” was released on Recochoku, one of the biggest music websites in Japan, in advance, and immediately topped the K-pop weekly chart. A short version of the music video also topped the Japanese video website Gyao, said the agency.

Besides AOA, the song also features Japanese singer and actor Takanori Nishikawa, better known as T.M. Revolution. He appears in the music video too.

The song depicts the story of a woman with a crush on someone. The group appear in the video clad in a car racing team’s outfit.

Meanwhile, the group will hold events to promote its new single in Tokyo on April 21 and 24, in Nagoya on April 22 and in Osaka on April 23.

The group has released three other Japanese singles, including “Heart Attack” and “Like a Cat,” which were both released last year.
