The Perfect Imperfections charity fashion show to raise funds for physically challenged children took place at the residence of the Dutch Consul-General Residence in Hong Kong on March 13.

The show was organized by BEAM International Foundation, a medical charity aimed at providing free surgeries for children with cleft palates. Other fashion brands from the Netherlands, including JOW by Angelle, collaborated on Perfect Imperfections.

On the sidelines of the event, founding general council member of Smile Asia, a medical charity that sponsors BEAM, and president of TriBeluga, a start-up accelerator, Lili Luo held a charity auction to further raise funds for the medical costs of children born with cleft palates in China.

One in 600 children in China is said to be born with a cleft condition. Founded in 1991 in Hong Kong, BEAM completed over 1,000 surgeries in 2015 alone, and in total has completed over 27,000 surgeries with the help of sponsors from around the world.
