The K-pop girl group Cosmic Girls unveiled their debut album with a "cute and marvelous" concept Thursday.

The 12-member group, with nine Korean members and three Chinese, released their first album "Would You Like?" at noon on major Korean providers of music streaming services. The album has five songs, including the title track "MoMoMo," as well as "Catch Me," "Take My Breath" and "Tick Tock."

"MoMoMo," co-composed by K-pop hitmakers Kim Do-hoon and Seo Yong-bae, is a dance song with a vintage rhythm and a cheery melody.

"Catch Me" is a song about trendy details, while "Take My Breath" is about a girl with a crush. In "Tick Tock," the girls happily investigate a man's heart.

"The girl group has been generating a lot of buzz in the K-pop industry, under the wings of Startship's winning strategies and China's largest talent agency Yuehua," Starship Entertainment said in a press release.

Each member of the Cosmic Girls has special talents in different fields -- vocals, dancing and acting -- to name a few, according to the Korean agency.

Following the album's release, the girl group will perform on "M Countdown," a music show that airs on Mnet at 6 p.m.

Yuehua Entertainment, based in Beijing, is an entertainment agency of multiple stars, including former Super Junior member Han Kyung (Han Geng) and Zhou Bichang. It also has forged business partnerships with several agencies overseas, and has the K-pop girl group After School and boy band NU'EST on its current roster. (Yonhap)
