McDonald’s Korea rolled out its “Signature Burger” menu in five stores in Busan last week, following the successful launch of the fast-food chain’s premium menu in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province last year.
The “Signature Burger” menu allows customers to build their own burgers by choosing from more than 20 ingredients through an instore touch-screen kiosk. Customers can either build burgers from scratch or choose a combination of ingredients recommended by McDonald’s. A server later brings the customized meals to customers’ tables.
The fast-food chain said that it had decided to introduce this premium burger menu outside of Seoul and Gyeonggi Province due to its rising demand across the nation.
