South Korean stocks traded 1.21 percent lower late Wednesday morning as tech and logistics firms went south.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index lost 22.88 points to 1,866.76 as of 11:20 a.m.
Tech shares continued to lose ground, with leading Samsung Electronics falling 1.96 percent and SK hynix moving down 4.06 percent. LG Display shed 1.36 percent.
Logistics also traded weaker, with top air carrier Korean Air plunging 3.11 percent and Asiana Airlines moving down 1.19 percent.
Jeju Air dropped 6.37 percent.
The local currency was trading at 1,210.50 won against the U.S. dollar as of 11:20 a.m., down 4.6 won from the previous session's close. (Yonhap)
