Star Wars: The Force Awakens (U.S.)

Many of the cast from the original “Star Wars” series return to reprise their roles in the seventh installment of the franchise, taking place 30 years after the death of the Sith Emperor. Despite his death, the Empire is still strong and under the new command of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), a mysterious Sith, who is threatening the peace the Rebels fought so hard to achieve.


Our Little Sister (Japan)

Sachi (Haruka Ayase), Yoshino (Masami Nagasawa), and Chika (Kaho) are three sisters who live together in a small seaside village named Kamikura. When their long-missing father passes away, they discover that he has left behind their 13-year-old half-sister Suzu (Suzu Hirose) all alone. They invite Suzu to come live with them, and the four sisters try to cope with their complicated family history.


The Tiger (Korea)

During Japan’s colonial rule over the Korean Peninsula, the indigenous tiger population is slowly dying out as the Japanese mercilessly hunt them for their valuable skin. The hunters are continuously eluded by the prize tiger that is said to rule Mount Jirisan. Retired hunter Man-duk (Choi Min-sik) is ordered to kill the tiger, but his history with the tiger keeps him from picking up his gun again.


The Himalayas (Korea)

Based on a true story, “The Himalayas” follows mountaineer Uhm Hong-gil (Hwang Jung-min) as he develops a close mentoring relationship with a fellow mountain climber Park Mu-taek (Jung Woo). When Park dies on an expedition to the Mount Everest, Uhm puts together a team to retrieve his body despite all the odds against him.
