Seoul says it has no knowledge of U.N. chief's trip to Pyongyang

A senior South Korean official said Monday that he was not aware of U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's upcoming trip to North Korea.
"This is the first time I've heard about it," the presidential official told reporters when asked if he was informed of Ban's trip. "At this stage, I have nothing to say."
The official, who is in the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya for the G-20 summit, asked not to be identified, citing policy.
His comments came soon after Yonhap News Agency reported from New York that Ban plans to visit Pyongyang this week.
Ban, a former South Korean foreign minister, is also in town for the summit of the Group of 20 advanced and emerging economies. (Yonhap)
