Kumho Tire has been at the forefront of “Beautiful Sharing” through multiple works of social philanthropy in an age of increased importance on corporate social responsibility.
The company has been continuously helping out the disadvantaged. Last week, Kumho Tire executives and employees participated in cooking and providing school lunches at the Seoul Southern Community Rehabilitation Center for the disabled.
Kumho employees also visited low-income disabled households to deliver food and assess their living conditions.

The company has been encouraging its employees to participate in social philanthropy for the disabled since 2013, in which they provide various cultural events such as musicals, touring and camping for those who have difficulty moving around.
Additionally, they have also been participating in the “Pink Ribbon campaign” for breast cancer since 2012, and in April, planted 1,500 trees for the “Beautiful Kumho Tire Forest” in collaboration with Seoul City to bring awareness to greenhouse gases and environmental preservation.
A Kumho Tires official said the company would continue to promote social responsibility and further engage in unique social campaigns that uphold the values of Kumho Tire.
