Beach-themed party
at W Hotel Seoul - Walkerhill


W Hotel Seoul – Walkerhill is presenting the “Summer Escape Party,” a resort-themed summer party with music by local DJs, at the hotel’s stylish WooBar on Aug. 8.

For the party, the bar will be filled with beach decorations including sunbeds, beach towels, parasols, surf boards, floating tubes and more. The dress code for the party is “beach attire.”

A number of renowned local DJs will perform, including DJ Gio Vanhoutte, who is W Hotel Seoul’s music curator, Hanmin, Mazestik and Steve Wu. DJ Hanmin has appeared on popular TV shows such as “Infinite Challenge” and “Running Man,” while DJ Mazestik is the resident DJ at Gangnam’s Club Ellui. DJ Steve Wu operates his own record label and produces alongside boy band ZE:A leader Moon Joon-young.

Outdoor jacuzzi
at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul


Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul’s Moon Bar is offering the “Petit Oasis” promotion, where guests will be granted private usage of the bar’s outdoor terrace jacuzzi until Sept. 30. The jacuzzi emits a fountain of warm water, allowing guests to enjoy a nighttime dip as well.

The promotion also includes a barbecue or fruit platter for four persons, along with Drappier champagne or a bottle of Reyka vodka. It is priced at 500,000 won from Sundays to Wednesdays, and at 650,000 won from Thursdays to Saturdays. There is a 50,000 won added fee for each extra person, and the maximum number of persons allowed is eight.

Family summer
at Renaissance Seoul 


Renaissance Seoul Hotel is presenting the “Late Summer Package” for those seeking a belated summer vacation in the city from Aug 1-31.

The package targets families with children, providing an overnight stay in a deluxe room, complimentary breakfast for two at Cafe Elysee (up to two children under 6 can eat for free), two snack menus (tteokbokki and fish cake), and access to the hotel’s indoor swimming pool, recreation center and sauna. Free in-room Wi-Fi is also available.

Also included is a special giveaway package for kids from toy brand Playmobil. The Playmobil exhibition will be displayed at the lobby as well.

Mango bingsu
at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City 


Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is offering the mango bingsu, a dessert with ice shavings and one of the most beloved summer specialties in Korea, at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge bar on the 41st floor. 

The sweet, juicy mango bingsu is made with two whole diced mangoes, ice shavings, red beans, condensed milk, nuts and a variety of fresh, seasonal fruits, and is topped with a creamy mango ice cream.

Also served is injeolmi red bean bingsu, which features finely shaved frozen milk flakes, injeolmi (a chewy rice cake covered in bean powder) and carefully selected red beans from Mount Jirisan.

The mango and injeolmi bingsu are available at 38,000 won and 24,200 won, respectively. Lobby Lounge Bar’s opening hours are from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Japanese teppanyaki
at Millennium Seoul Hilton


Millennium Seoul Hilton is offering a special teppanyaki promotion at Genji, the hotel’s Japanese restaurant, for the month of August. Diners will be able to choose from the king crab and lobster menu or the caviar and seafood menu.

The king crab and lobster menu, priced at 168,000 won, will include a choice of sushi or sashimi, prawns with leeks, silver cod fish with mushrooms, cuttlefish with spinach, assorted vegetable, fried rice or noodles, and more.

The caviar and seafood menu, priced at 160,000 won, will feature caviar with Jeju sea bream, abalone with sea urchin roe, caviar with scallop, freshwater eel and more.

With a new sushi bar, teppanyaki tables, elegant tatami rooms and private dining spaces, Genji offers a range of Japanese fine dining dishes.
