The Camarata Music Company is seeking performers for its upcoming operetta and musical “The Pirates of Penzance.”
This Gilbert and Sullivan comedy centers around Frederick, who accidentally becomes an apprentice pirate, after his request to train as a pilot is misheard.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, Sunday and April 4, and roles are available for all ages.
Those planning to try for a part are asked to prepare one song, preferably from classical music or musical theater. There will also be some script reading involved.
The show will take place in June.
To arrange an audition, contact info@camaratamusic.com or 010-9806-8655.
The CMC is also inviting new singers for its 30-member children’s choir, which is for children aged 7-15 and rehearses on Saturdays. Information is available via the above contact details or on www.camarata music.com.
