Seoul Metropolitan Government is seeking student volunteers for the first half of next year, with scholarships of up to 2.5 million won as an incentive.
The program, in partnership with IT corporation KT, will involve twice-weekly volunteering with KT student university volunteers and online language teaching for children in remote areas.
There are 30 places available, and volunteers get a payment of 500,000 won when the program starts on Jan. 20 and 2 million won more at the end of the program, on June 30.
To apply, submit your certificate of enrollment and two application forms ― available from global.seoul.go.kr ― to titi1245@seoul.go.kr by Wednesday. Those who also submit TOPIK scores will be given preference.
For more information, call SMG’s Multiculturalism Division at (02) 2133-5077.
