Korean and Chinese restaurants reopen at Sheraton Grand Walkerhill

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill reopened the Korean restaurant Ondal and Chinese restaurant Geumryong after six months of renovation on Dec. 1. The Korean restaurant Ondal presents Korean royal cuisine based on the recipes of an aristocratic family of the Joseon era. Ondal also serves the head chef’s “Summit Luncheon,” which was served during the G20 Seoul Summit and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Korea. Geumryong (Golden Dragon) offers Cantonese cuisine and a recreation of an imperial feast of the Manchu Han. Christmas accommodation package at Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul is presenting Christmas packages for couples who wish to have a romantic Christmas. The “In the mood for love” package (starting at 290,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a guestroom, breakfast for two and a candle set. Guests who choose the suite room are offered a bottle of red wine, sandwich or pizza, assorted chocolates and a mini cake as in-room service. The “Special Eve” package (528,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a duplex suite or a corner suite with a candle set and the benefits offered at the Club Imperial Lounge. “Special Eve” package guests can also participate in the hotel’s Christmas party on Dec. 24 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Lobby Lounge Delmar. Winter packages at Renaissance Seoul Hotel

Renaissance Seoul Hotel is offering winter packages for those looking for a relaxing Christmas holiday. The three packages are available from Dec. 1 to Feb. 28. The “Winter Saving Package” is a one-night stay in a deluxe room for 180,000 won. The “Winter Fantasy Package” (230,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast for two at the Cafe Elysee, two winter cocktails at Trevi Lounge, a cake and two cups of coffee or hot chocolates and more. The “Winter Wonderland Package,” designed for families, includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, breakfast for two with free access for children under 12 and more benefits. Christmas dinner at Conrad Seoul

Conrad Seoul’s 37 Grill will offer a five-course Christmas dinner on Dec. 24 and 25. The restaurant overlooking Seoul and the Hangang River will offer courses inspired by the theme “White Christmas.” It will start with amouse-bouche and a glass of premium house champagne, followed by a bluefin tuna tartar with green apple gel and more. For the main course, grilled Korean beef striploin with carrot puree, coconut gel and truffle jus will be served with a white feta cheese powder decoration. For desert, guests can enjoy gluwein-flavor sorbet with orange jelly, pina colada with pineapple passion mouse, almond sponge cake and more. Christmas cooking class for kids at Grand Hyatt Incheon

Grand Hyatt Incheon will put on Christmas kid’s cooking classes on Dec. 13, 20 and 25. The cooking class will be led by the hotel’s French pastry chef Pascal Cialdella, who will make gingerbread cookies and a winter cottage chocolate cake with children. Children will be given a cute apron and hat to make them feel like real chefs. The cooking class will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 13 and 20 and at 3 p.m. on Dec. 25.
