Gwangju Performance Project will stage a production of “Proof” by David Auburn.
The play, which won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award, centers on the daughter of a mathematical genius. When her father dies, a crucial finding about prime numbers is found in his office, and she faces the task of proving it is his work.
The production has two separate casts who will perform alternate shows.
The play is recommended for ages 14 and up and Korean translation will be provided.
Performances will run at Gwangju Art Hall at 8 p.m. Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday and at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 13.
Tickets are 10,000 won in advance or 15,000 won at the door. Some other deals are available. See www.gwangjutheatre.com for more information or email gpptickets@gmail.com for reservations.
