Gwangju International Center will run a GIC Culture Tour to Jangheung, on the southern coast of South Jeolla Province, on Dec. 20.
The tour will include two main programs. The first will be a visit to a seawater sauna and a “jjimjjilbang” ― a Korean steam room and bathing complex. The second will be a session of grilling oysters for lunch.
The program will depart at 9 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. and costs 40,000 won for GIC members and 50,000 won for nonmembers. Preschoolers can join for 25,000 won. Fees include transport, food, insurance and admission costs.
