Rap star Gaeko of Dynamic Duo is gearing up to break out of his shell with the release of his first full-length solo album this month, according to a press release from the group’s agency, Amoeba Culture, on Wednesday.

The rapper is slated to unveil “Redingray” sometime in mid-October, making this his first official solo release in nearly two years since his single “Rhythm is Life.”

“With this album, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko will be on his own, showcasing his personal thoughts, imagination and passion,” said a representative from Amoeba Culture, noting that this album is one that will “appeal to the masses.”

Gaeko made his official debut in the music scene a decade ago as a member of Dynamic Duo, one of the country’s most well-known hip-hop acts. The duo recently released a collaborative EP titled “A Giant Step” with hip-hop mastermind DJ Premier ― who has produced beats for a long-list of international superstars including Jay Z, Kanye West, the late Notorious B.I.G, Maroon 5 and The Black Eyed Peas.
