[Asian Games] Japanese swimmer expelled over theft

INCHEON (Yonhap) ― A Japanese swimmer at the Asian Games has been expelled from his team after stealing a camera from a South Korean photojournalist, prompting a police investigation and apologies from Japan.
Tsuyoshi Aoki, head of the Japanese delegation to the Asiad in Incheon, announced in a press conference that the swimmer, Naoya Tomita, has been kicked off the team “effective immediately” following the incident.
