Ubiquitous digitization and how it will change peoples’ lives will be the focus for next year’s CeBIT conference, according to the organizers.

“Digitization is everywhere and is shaping ever more dimensions of working and social life. IT is transforming existing business models while at the same time giving rise to completely new ones. The 2015 lead theme encapsulates this development perfectly,” said Oliver Frese, member of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe AG, which organizes the CeBIT events.

Frese was speaking at a press conference for the 2015 CeBIT at Park Hyatt hotel in southern Seoul on Friday.

CeBIT is the world’s largest IT event, held every March in Hannover, Germany, with 4,000 exhibitors from 70 countries and 210,000 visitors, including buyers.

This year, it will be held March 16-20, with China as the official partner country, and the theme of “d!conomy.”

As a business-focused trade fair and conference, CeBIT explores the latest market trends of big data, cloud computing, mobility, social media and security in unparalleled breadth and depth.
