Ichon Global Village Center is running a photography contest for foreign residents based on cultural aspects of Seoul.
Entries should be based on one of three themes: festivals in Seoul, traditional markets or the exotic features of Yongsan.
First prize will be 300,000 won, with two second prizes of 200,000 won and three third prizes of 100,000 won each.
To enter, send a 2,400-by-3,000-pixel or larger jpeg file to ichonphoto@gmail.com, along with a completed application form by Oct. 20. Contestants can enter up to three photos each.
The competition is open to all foreign residents who can attend the opening ceremony on Nov. 11. Application forms can be downloaded from global.seoul.go.kr/ichon.
