가수에서 디자이너로 변신한 임상아(41)의 이혼 소식이 전해졌다.

27일 스포츠연예매체 OSEN은 임상아가 미국인 남편과의 10년 결혼생활을 청산한 사실이 최근 알려졌다고 보도했다.

해당 매체는 방송관계자들을 인용, 임상아가 2001년 결혼한 미국인 음반 프로듀서 제이미 프롭과 이혼했다고 전했다.

임상아는 2001년 미국에서 재즈기타리스트 출신의 미국인 음반 프로듀서 제이미 프롭과 결혼해 슬하에 딸 1명을 두고 있다.

한편 1995년 SBS 탤런트로 데뷔한 임상아는 같은 해 가수로 변신, ‘뮤지컬’을 히트시키며 많은 사랑을 받았다.

한편, 임상아는 1995년 SBS 특채 탤런트로 데뷔해 가수와 MC, 뮤지컬 배우로 활약했다. 이후 1999년 미국으로 떠난 그는 뉴욕에서 ‘SANG A(상아)’라는 핸드백 브랜드를 론칭한 뒤 가방 디자이너 겸 CEO로 활발히 활동하고 있다.

Former Korean pop diva Im Sang A put an end to her 13-year marriage with her American husband Jamie Propp, online celebrity news outlet OSEN reported on Wednesday.
