Dongguk University will be holding English lectures on Buddhism each Saturday in September.
The first, on Sept. 6, will be by Daniela Schenker on Gwaneum, the Bodhisatva of compassion.
This will be followed by a talk by Lynda Emerson on the ninth incarnation of Deva Visnu, David Mason’s session on Diseib Guksa and his legacy of pungsu jiri and great temples, and Ven. Hwansan on the uses of meditation in the modern world.
The lectures are free and start at 2 p.m. in the university’s International Seon Center.
