American socialite Paris Hilton has faced criticism from some Korean news organizations for her alleged late arrivals at some events.

The Hilton heiress arrived in Seoul on Thursday for a two-day trip to participate in the shooting of two TV shows on cable channels operated by CJ E&M.
But Ilgan Sports reported on Friday that Hilton arrived at the recording studio for the OnStyle “Get It Beauty” three hours late and the StoryOn “True Live Show” three and half hours late, keeping production teams and audience waiting at the recording scene.
The local sports and entertainment news outlet quoted an unnamed source as saying, “Being late for work for two days in a row is obviously problematic. As if the shooting was all for Hilton, she showed unruly behavior.”
“She seemed confident without feeling sorry even after arriving hours late. I hoped that she could have had some consideration for others,” the source was further quoted as saying.
However, CJ E&M, the broadcaster that invited Hilton, immediately denied the reports.
“All the shows were filmed as scheduled. In the first place, Hilton was supposed to come a bit later than the filming schedule so the other show hosts can shoot their parts. It is not true that Hilton was late,” explained an official from the media company.
The super-rich celebrity went back to the U.S. in the afternoon on Friday. She is gearing up for her new song “Come Alive” to be released later this year. The music video for the track was recently unveiled, heating up online communities.
The TV shows “True Live Show” and “Get It Beauty” starring Hilton are slated to air on July 25 and 28, respectively.
