백현 심경고백 글 돌연 삭제… '왜?'

그룹 엑소(EXO)의 멤버 백현이 소녀시대 태연과의 열애 인정 후 첫 공개한 심경 고백 글을 삭제했다.

앞서 백현은 17일 오전 자신의 인스타그램에 장문의 글을 올렸다.

백현은 "여러분들께 많이 늦었지만 실망과 상처를 드려서 죄송하다는 말씀드리고 싶어 글을 남긴다. 여러번 글을 쓰고 지우기를 반복했지만 변명만 늘어놓는 것 같아 마음을 전할 그리고 오해들을 풀 용기가 안났다"고 전했다.

이어 그는 "항상 소중한 팬 여러분들의 마음을 아프게 해서 정말 죄송하다. 그리고 그 안에서 생긴 오해들로 더 아프게 해드려서 다시 한 번 죄송하다. 정말 많이 부족하지만 팬 여러분께 천천히 열심히 다가가겠다"며 "그리고 EXO는 나에게도 너무나 소중한 이름이다. 결코 EXO를 가볍게 표현한 적이 없었다는 말씀 꼭 드리고 싶다. 앞으로 무대 위에서나 밖에서도 최선을 다하는 EXO 백현이 되겠다"고 다짐했다.

하지만 백현은 해당 글을 쓴지 6시간 만에 심경고백 글을 삭제했다. 많은 사람들이 자신의 글에 관심을 가져 부담을 느낀 것으로 보인다.

한편 백현 소식을 접한 네티즌들은 "백현 심경고백, 어차피 다들 봤을텐데 왜 삭제하지?", "백현 심경고백, 둘 다 사과하고도 욕 먹네", "백현 심경고백, 힘내세요" 등의 반응을 보였다.

EXO Baekhyun deleted apology from Instagram

Baekhyun, member of K-pop boy band EXO, removed his heartfelt apology for fans from his social networking site, 10 hours after it went viral.

The idol left a message on Instagram early on Thursday, breaking his silence a month after he admitted that he is dating Taeyeon of labelmate Girls‘ Generation. But now the apologetic comment is deleted.

In the message, he explained why he had to remain quiet after the news broke and how sorry he is.

“I know it is too late, but I am leaving a message here to apologize for disappointing and hurting you, my fans,” the 22-year-old heartthrob said.

“I was not courageous enough resolve misunderstanding or talk about my true feelings. I was afraid that you might feel that I am making excuses. ... Maybe these words mean nothing to you anymore,” he wrote.

Baekhyun knew he might regret that he posted such a message on his Instagram, but decided to go ahead with it to deliver “how he really feels.”

“It is my apology that I broke your heart. I am sorry about the misunderstandings.”

At the end of the message, he vowed to do his best to make up for the distress he caused to his fans.

“I will do my best on and off the stage. I will slowly get closer to you, my fans,” he concluded.

Baekhyun’s long-awaited apology came as a surprise to his fans because he stunned them with silence over his latest love scandal, in stark contrast to his girlfriend Taeyeon who made an apology right away after the news broke in June.

On June 19, the idol couple went public about their romantic relationship after their pictures, supposedly on a date, were revealed by a local media outlet earlier that day.

Their fans, especially those who supported Baekhyun, expressed strong opposition and disappointment about the idols’ new relationship, in part due to his recent promise to focus on EXO’s activities without having a girlfriend.
