(속보) 광주헬기 추락 사망자 5명으로 늘어

17일 오전 광주 수완지구의 한 주택가에 헬기가 추락해 검은 연기가 솟구치고 있다. 119구조대와 경찰은 현장을 통제하고 사고 현장을 정리하고 있다.

17일 오전 10시50분쯤 광주광역시 광산구 고실마을 아파트 단지와 학교 부근에 헬기 1대가 추락해 5명이 숨지고 1명이 부상한 것으로 알려졌다.

이 헬기는 강원 소방본부 소속 헬기인 것으로 확인됐다.

현재 소방당국은 정확한 헬기 추락 원인과 인명 피해 현황을 조사 중이다.

목격자들에 따르면 헬기는 추진력을 잃고 사고 주변을 맴돌다 앞부분이 도로에 부딪쳐 불이 일어났다.

당시 헬기는 아파트, 주택 등의 추락을 피하기 위해 최대한 노력한 것으로 전해졌다
