TOEFL Writing 을 위한 기본 문법 정리 Point 6
TOEFL Writing Test에서 고득점을 받기 위해서 선행되어야 할 부분은 기본 문법입니다. 기본문법이 되어있지 않으면 올바른 문장을 구사할 수 없기 때문이죠. TOEFL Writing 기본 문법편에서는 TOEFL Writing 에 필요한 가장 기초적인 핵심 문법 사항 몇 가지를 확인해 보도록 하겠습니다.

■ most vs almost vs the most
most
= almost all 대부분 형용사
대명사 Most students didn’t attend the meeting.
Most of the students didn‘t attend the meeting.

대부분의 학생들이 회의에 참석하지 않았다.
almost 거의 부사 Almost all the students didn’t attend the meeting.
Almost all of the students didn‘t attend the meeting.

거의 모든 학생들이 회의에 참석하지 않았다.
the most 최상급 부사 N.C. Inc. is one of the most influential company in Asia.

N.C. Inc는 아시아에서 가장 영향력 있는 회사 중의 하나다.


Most charges for damages and breakage done by children during the field trip should be paid by their parents or teachers.
현장학습동안 발생한 어린이들에 의한 손해나 파손에 대한 대부분의 비용은 그들의 부모나 선생님이 지불해야만 한다.

■ some vs any
some 긍정문 Some of the books on the desk are mine.
책상 위의 책 몇 권은 내 것이다.
권유 Would you like some coffee? 커피 한 잔 하실래요?
부탁 Could you please lend me some money? 돈 좀 꿔줄래?
any 의문문 Are there any students in the classroom? 교실에 누구 있니?
부정문 I don’t have any money with me. 나는 돈이 한 푼도 없다.
조건문 If you have any coins, please lend me some.
동전이 있으면 좀 빌려 주세요.
긍정문
(어떤~라도) Any of those reports should be revised.
그것들 중 어떤 보고서라도 다 검토되어야 한다.
